1: The blues influenced guitarist will be showcasing songs from his latest album, Battle Studies, alongside work from his first three albums Room For Squares, Heavier Things and Continuum.

2: Mayer was born in 1977 in Connecticut and started playing guitar at 13 after being inspired by a Stevie Ray Vaughan tape his neighbour gave him.

3: In 1998 he moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he began his solo career with the release of his Inside Wants Out EP.

4: In 2003, Mayer won a Grammy Award for Best Male Vocal Performance for the single Your Body Is A Wonderland and, two years later, followed this with The Song Of The Year Grammy for Daughters, taken from his second album Heavier Things.

5: Who Says, the first single from his latest collection, Battle Studies, is out now.
