1: Benson, who last performed at the Manchester venue two years ago, has sold over 40 million albums worldwide, been awarded eight Grammys and recently received the MOBO Lifetime Achievement Award.

2: The veteran soul & jazz performer will be playing songs from his latest album, 2009's Songs And Stories, alongside his classic hits This Masquerade, Give Me The Night, In Your Eyes and Shiver.

3: Joining Benson in Manchester will be Marti Pellow, lead singer with Scottish pop group Wet Wet Wet - the first group to play the M.E.N Arena on opening 15 years ago.

4: Now an established solo artist and theatre star, Pellow will be performing tracks from his recent albums Smile, Sentimental Me and Between The Covers.
