Alicia Keys returns to the M.E.N Arena next spring to celebrate the release of her brand new album The Element Of Freedom.

1: The singer, songwriter, pianist and actress returns to Manchester to showcase tracks from The Element Of Freedom alongside hits from her R&B / soul back catalogue.

2: The Element Of Freedom, Keys' fourth studio album, is the follow-up to her 2007 multi-platinum selling long player As I Am which featured the hits No One, Superwoman and Like You'll Never See Me Again.

3: Alicia first burst onto the music scene in 2001 with her critically-acclaimed debut album Songs In A Minor.

4: Since then Keys has gone on to work with some of the biggest names in music - including Jay-Z, Beyonce, Chris Martin and David Bowie - as well as starring in the Hollywood hit movies Smokin' Aces, The Nanny Diaries and The Secret Lives Of Bees.

5: Key's most recently appeared on Jay-Z's massive hit Empire State Of Mind.
