Paul Weller will return to Manchester's M.E.N Arena this December to perform tracks from his eagerly anticipated new album Wake Up The Nation.

1: Following his special guest appearance at 2007's Versus Cancer and his own M.E.N Arena headline show in 2008, the recipient of this year's NME 'Godlike Genius' Award will be performing tracks from Wake Up The Nation alongside his classic hits The Changingman, Broken Stones and You Do Something To Me.
2: Weller first burst onto the music scene in 1977 with his first band, The Jam.
3: Six years later he formed The Style Council before becoming a solo artist in 1991 with the release of his self-titled debut Paul Weller.
4: Weller's recording legacy is now peerless - six albums and four number one singles with The Jam, four albums with The Style Council, ten on his own, including Wildwood and Stanley Road - plus numerous one offs as The Council Collective, King Truman and The Smoking Mojo Filters.
5: Wake Up The Nation is out Monday 19 April.
