The Godfather of French electronic music Jean Michel Jarre returns to the M.E.N Arena on Saturday 9 October.
Jean Michel Jarre will pay tribute to cult science fiction author Sir Arthur C. Clarke with his new "2010" show.
"I listened to all of Jean Michel Jarre's albums obsessively, to the point of knowing every note by heart. His music accompanied me as I wrote 2010: Odyssey Two. His concerts are always a celebration of wonder" said literary giant Clarke.
Lyon-born Jarre will fuse analogue synthesizers, cutting-edge digital technology, giant high definition video projections and spectacular laser and lighting design as he showcases tracks from his groundbreaking back catalogue including Oxygene, Equinoxe, Rendezvous, Zoolook and Revolutions.
Previous shows have taken place at historic locations around the world, from the Acropolis to Beijing's Forbidden City.
